RACHAEL WOOD GUITARIST / MUSICAL DIRECTOR /COMPOSER
BIOGRAPHY
Rachael Wood is an established session guitarist, MD and Composer from the UK.
With 20 years of live and recording experience, she has performed to sell out audiences across the world at festivals, on live radio and TV, in arenas and at prestigious venues such as The Royal Albert Hall.
As a pop session player Rachael has performed with artists including Sinead O’Connor, The Wedding Present and Skunk Anansie across Europe for both live shows and live publicity on TV and radio. She also extensively toured for 8 years with Cirque du Soleil's show "Amaluna" as MD and lead guitarist.
As a composer Rachael has worked for world class acrobats, UK based production companies and Cirque du Soleil's One Drop Foundation "$1 Million Big One". She writes everything from full orchestral driven pieces to hard rock guitar tracks, and recently completed an Orchestration and Arrangement course at Berklee College of Music.
